In celebration of International Women’s Day, Flying Cape was proud to support a meaningful fireside chat organised by Enterprise Singapore Society, bringing together women leaders for an evening of candid conversation, reflection and connection.
Held on 31 March 2026 at PLU Singapore, the event gathered entrepreneurs, professionals and community members to hear from women who are shaping businesses, communities and the future of work.
An Evening of Honest Conversations
The fireside chat created space for open and thoughtful sharing on the personal journeys behind leadership and success. Rather than focusing only on achievements, the conversation explored the pivotal moments, bold decisions and hard-earned lessons that shaped each speaker’s path.
The evening was moderated by Aileen Seah, Managing Director of The Health Collective, and featured a panel of inspiring women leaders.
Our CEO, Jamie Tan, joined fellow panelists Sher-li Torrey, Founder of Mums@Work Singapore, and Louisa Lee, CEO of DP Healthverse Holdings, in sharing candid reflections on their leadership journeys. Together, they spoke about navigating challenges, overcoming setbacks and defining success on their own terms.
Through their candid reflections, the panelists offered valuable insights into what it means to build purposeful careers, lead through change and create impact in their respective fields.

Key Themes from the Discussion
Throughout the evening, several meaningful themes emerged around the journeys of women in leadership, entrepreneurship and the workplace.

The conversation highlighted the resilience many women demonstrate as they navigate uncertainty, build businesses, lead teams and take on responsibilities across different areas of life. The speakers also shared candid reflections on the realities women often face, from balancing family, career and personal aspirations, to finding the confidence to speak up, make bold choices and stay true to their values.
Another key takeaway was the courage it takes for women to define success on their own terms. Whether it involves starting something new, changing direction, overcoming setbacks or creating space for others to grow, the stories shared reflected the strength, wisdom and impact of women across industries and communities.
Celebrating Women Who Inspire the Next Generation
At Flying Cape, we believe that learning and growth are lifelong journeys. As a company that works closely with families, educators and partners across the education ecosystem, we see the importance of role models in inspiring the next generation.
Events like this are meaningful because they allow stories of leadership, courage and purpose to be shared openly. These stories not only celebrate the achievements of women today, but also encourage future generations to dream bigger, grow with confidence and pursue their own paths with courage.
